Lift Nepal Magazine & Branding Project
Lift Nepal entrusted ColrMedia to design a full magazine capturing their mission and impact. Our goal was to create a professional, visually engaging publication that communicated transformation while reflecting Lift Nepal’s brand identity. Our Process: Collaborating closely with Xiwan and his team, we curated photos, refined content, and designed cohesive layouts combining visuals, infographics, and custom-made maps. Midway through, we proposed a rebrand for Empact Adventures—developing a simpler, more versatile logo that seamlessly integrated into the final design. Lift Nepal Promotional Video
Behind the Edit: Translating an owners vision into impact. We transform your core purpose into compelling cinematic storytelling. This project began as a large-scale promotional video for an adventure company expanding into the U.S. market — a piece designed to attract new, high-profile sponsorships and partnerships. When we first received the materials, we had nearly 3 terabytes of B-roll and over three hours of A-roll footage. Our role was initially limited to editing. As we began sorting through the material, it became clear there was strong visual content, but there wasn’t yet a cohesive narrative that could connect with an American audience or fully reflect the business owner’s vision. To bridge that gap, we met personally with the owner to understand the deeper story — the company’s origins, mission, challenges, and future goals. What we found was far more than a simple adventure brand; it was an epic story of purpose, courage, and creating sustainable opportunity in Nepal’s evolving economy. The story was there-quiet, powerful, just waiting to be discovered. We went back to the drawing board and developed a new script from the ground up, rewriting and refining it until every line supported the emotional and visual journey we wanted to create. On shoot day, we collaborated closely with the company’s videographer, supporting the on-camera delivery with a teleprompter and on-site direction to help bring authenticity and clarity to the message — particularly given it was delivered in a second language. The moment we reviewed the new A-roll, we knew we had something special. The footage had an epic and real story to anchor it. From there, the editing process became organic — the B-roll flowed around the narrative like it was meant to be there all along. In the end, the final video didn’t just meet expectations — it captured the heart of the company’s mission.
